Here is a preview of the artwork for our next EP that will be available as a digipack. The EP will be sent out to all subscribers of Sweden Rock Magazine. A small amount will also be sold together with the copies available in Swedish stores. Sweden Rock Magazine #68 will be available from February 2nd.

The EP consists of 3 tracks, the new single “Beg, Beg, Beg”, and 2 bonus tracks that won’t be available of the pressing of the Scandinavian version of our forthcoming album, the hardrock anthem “Tonight” and the mysterious “Living in a Memory”.

[2009-12-29] 2009!
Hey all of you guys in the world!
We've had a truly spectacular year of 2009. We started off with a very successful european tour through 7-8 countries and we got back home we caught a big break with the Eurovision thing!

1000 miles is one of the big hits of the year in Sweden and we're very thankful to have recieved a LOT of new fans. Of course this inspired us throughout the massive touring we've been doing this year. We want to thank every single one of you guys and gals that came to see a H.E.A.T show this year, from U.K through Europe to Japan! We appreciate your support so very much and hope that you got what you came for: A good hour of melodic mayhem!

This also inspired us to enter the studio for the recordings of album nr.2 that will be released in spring 2010. The tracking is done, now awaits mixing, mastering and a bit of promotion and stuff before we can bring you the album! Be sure to enter the new decade by feeling the heat and the Freedom Rock that we strife to bring onto you!

And last but not least, a very Happy new Year to all of you bastards!

The past weeks have been kind of a journey into a new world for us. We participated in the Swedish finals for the Eurovision Song Contest with a great rock song, "1000 Miles". We´ve had a blast and gotten to know many new artists, TV production professionals, media people and lots of new fans. We reached the Finals and that felt like a great achievement.
We were happy to participate and to be able to play some good hard rock n roll to all the people of Sweden and knowing the votes from the TV viewers, we got fantastic support from lots of people and we wanna thank you for that from the bottom of our hearts. We are glad that we have never deviated from our path which is the rock music we worship and we look forward to see you at all our gigs in the near future.

We will do two very exclusive gigs in March. One is in our hometown Upplands Väsby and the other one is in the town a bit north of Upplands Väsby, Märsta. We're doing these gigs to pay our homage to these towns that has meant alot to H.E.A.T, and we wanna give a special THANK YOU to the wonderful, supporting people in these towns. [2009-01-23] H.E.A.T is on in Japan!
While enjoying the European tour, we are reached by good news from our management back in Sweden that our debut album has been released on a new and important market. We are talking about nothing less than - Japan. Obviously, this is really exciting for us, knowing that Japan has some 130 million people and that the interest for music from western parts of the world is great. We have high hopes that the Japanese rockers will embrace our music, purchase the record and hopefully see us playing there live in the near future. [2008-12-23] Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
We’ve had a wonderful 2008. We released a very successful debut album, that received wonderful reviews all over the world, and loads of people have bought it and enjoyed it the way we wanted it to be enjoyed. We’ve had great gigs; Sweden Rock Festival, Rockweekend, opening for Alice Cooper, touring with Sabaton and playing at Firefest in Nottingham England to name a few. 2008 has been the year when H.E.A.T truly made a stand, we showed the world what were made of, and that there’s a lot more where that came from.

Because this is just the start of a wonderful journey that will go on for a long time. We have the Swedish trials for Eurovision Song Contest coming up, as well as our first major tour, supporting Edguy in 7 countries of Europe. Our album will be released in Japan late January 2009. We will revisit Sweden Rock Festival 2009. And that’s just the start of the next year.

So thank you to all who has made this possible in 2008, hope you are still with us for an even more extreme 2009!

[2008-11-26] H.E.A.T will compete in Eurovision Song Contest 2009
At a press conference Tuesday, in Stockholm, Swedish National Television (SVT) announced new contestants in one of the most popular TV programs, The Eurovision Song Contest. It is a dream beyond reach for most artists to even get a chance to participate.

We have had fruitful discussions with composers David Stenmarck and Niklas Jarl and Swedish Television picked their song with us as artists. So at one of the contests, we will perform the song "1000 Miles". It is a very good song in line with our taste and repertoir. Considering the fact that Eurovision Song Contest of today has developed into a music show with a variety of contemporary music - from metal to folk tunes, disco and ballads - we made the decision to go for it.

The reason is simply that the song is arranged by H.E.A.T and we think that it more or less represents the sound we stand for, and we see an opportunity to get wide exposure and make everyone feel the HEAT! So we will really enjoy the contest and hope you all help us through phone voting when the time comes.

Yesterday, H.E.A.T won the catagory 'Newcomers of the Year' in the Swedish National Radio, P4 Dist, vote. Thank you to all of you who have voted for us! This also means that we will play at Sweden Rock Festival 2009!

[2008-10-13] H.E.A.T to play Firefest in two weeks!
Hello everyone and especially you from the U.K!
Since Pretty Maids cancelled their show at the Firefest festival due to logistics problems we were asked to take their place, with very short notice, and of course we accepted! Other great artists to play are Firehouse, Danger Danger, Tyketto, Jeff Scott Soto, Mitch Malloy among others. We're thrilled and honoured!

Here's a quote from the Firefest website:
"On the Plus side, once it became apparent Pretty Maids could not perform a frantic search began for a replacement act. Two weeks to show time is generally not the greatest time to be looking for a replacement act, but we have struck gold H.E.A.T the latest hard rock sensations from Sweden , currently riding high with their critically acclaimed self titled debut album have accepted our invitation to play. Following a barrage of e mails and phone calls on Saturday morning , Eric Rivers and Kieran Dargan worked out the finer points and H.E.A.T will now slot into the Sunday line up for FF5. As you may have noticed the gig in Linköping was supposed to be at the 13th of November (Dave's birthday btw), but it has been moved to another date. The gig will take place Thursday 11th of December 2008 and tickets can be found here.

[2008-10-06] Back from the tour!
We're back from four great days, touring with the fantastic band Sabaton, and we just feel that we wanna give a big thank you to the people we've met during these days! We will soon update our tour diary with all the juicy details you can imagine!
